There are events happening in Waikiki daily, however there are monthly parades that close down the most popular street, Kalakaua Avenue. You will need to plan accordingly when an event closes down the main throughways of Waikiki.
July 6, 2019 Saturday 2:00pm – 11:30pm Endless Summer Festival
The event is expected to have 25,000+ participants. The event will close Kalakaua Avenue., all lanes and sidewalk areas from Seaside Ave. to Uluniu Ave.
July 13, 2019 Saturday 9:00am – 11:00am Family Day Parade (God’s Ohana Day Parade)
The parade is a First Amendment event that will have 500 marchers, 5 vehicles, 8 floats, 2 horses & 1 band. It will start at Kalakaua Ave/Fort DeRussy/Saratoga Rd., to Kalakaua Ave., to end at Queen Kapiolani Park.
