Events in Waikiki

There are events happening in Waikiki daily, however there are monthly parades that close down the most popular street, Kalakaua Avenue. You will need to plan accordingly when an event closes down the main throughways of Waikiki.

March 10, 2019 Sunday 3:30pm – 8:00pm
Honolulu Festivals Parade
The event is expected to have 1,000 marchers, 20 vehicles & 3 bands. It will start at Kalakaua Ave. at Saratoga Rd., kkhd on Kalakaua Ave., to Monsarrat Ave., to end at Waikiki Shell Parking Lot, Queen Kapiolani Park. Lanes will be closed starting 2 pm.

March 17, 2019 Sunday 11:30am – 1:00pm
St. Patrick’s Day Parade
The event is expected to have 200 marchers, 40 vehicles, & 4 bands. It will start at Saratoga Rd./Kalakaua Ave., to Kalakaua Ave., to Monsarrat Ave., to end at Queen Kapiolani Park. Lanes will be closed from 11:30 am.

March 23, 2019 Saturday 9:30am – 12:00pm
Prince Kuhio Commemoration Parade
The event is expected to have 800 marchers, 35 vehicles, 2 floats, & 2 bands. It will start at Kalakaua Ave. at Saratoga Rd., kkhd on Kalakaua Ave., to end at Waikiki Shell parking lot, Queen Kapiolani Park. Lanes will be closed 8:30 am.
