Farmer’s market are a great way to sample “local style” foods and support the farming communities in Hawaiʻi. Some of the produce are sold cheaper than the grocery stores. Each of the farmer’s markets are unique and offer a variety of locally grown and produced foods, handcrafted goods, and souvenirs.
One of the largest farmers market is at the Kapiolani Community College (KCC). Located across the street from the Diamond Head entrance, this is extremely popular with the tourists. In fact, this is a tour destination with dedicated buses stopping right in front of the KCC’s Farmer’s Market. It is best to arrive early.
